Volunteering is a great way to get experience if you wish to enter into the not-for-profit sector. However, even if you are not planning to, volunteering can be both a rewarding and enjoyable opportunity giving you new skills and insights, helping you to meet new people and improving your job prospects in general.
There are so many ways you could volunteer too there being opportunities with animals and wildlife. art and leisure, campaigning, sport, refugees and asylum seekers, children, older people, ex-offenders, international development and the environment to name some.
