Volunteer Induction
Who: Any student interested in finding out more about volunteering and good causes What: A general introduction to volunteering through Oxford Hub Community Volunteers (OH:CV) providing you all you need to know to get you started
Coordinator Workshop
Who: Any student who is or would like to be involved in running or supporting a student led volunteering project What: Covering all the essential information for being a volunteer project coordinator. Coordinators will be provided with the support, framework and the tools to get run a successful project.
Child Protection “Safeguarding”
Who: Essential training for any student wanting to volunteer with children. What: Up-to-date information and guidance for working effectively with children ensuring that their safety is at the centre of your volunteering
Project Specific Sessions
Who: For students who would like to find out more about the student led projects that we have on offer What: Specific information regarding the projects from the current student co-ordinators, in terms of how to get involved, what time commitments are required and how you’re time will make a difference.
Oxford Hub (OxHub) is the focal point for charitable activity at Oxford University. Through events, a website and office, we can connect you with a cause to help tackle the social and environmental challenges of today.
