• Event description: Oxford Development Abroad are please to present a lecture on Health Abroad by world renowned author Jane Wilson-Howarth.
Week 2: Workshop: Interested in Working for Peace?
• Trainer: Hannah Lewis, Student Outreach Coordinator, International Alert
• Time & Venue: 7.30pm to 9.30pm – Theberge Room, St Peter’s College
• Event description: Interested in Working for Peace? Come along to find out what kinds of work you can do as a peaceworker, and the ways you can develop your skills to have a positive impact in this field.

Week 3: Effective and Efficient Fundraising
• Trainer: Bill Bruty, Oxfordshire Community and Voluntary Action
• Time & Venue: 7.30pm to 9.30pm – Miles Room, St Peter’s College
• Event description: This session will focus on how to build rapport with a potential funder as a three-step dance routine, run by Bill Bruty from OCVA.

Week 4: Volunteering Abroad – All You Need To Know
• Trainer: Anthony Lunch, Managing Director, MondoChallenge
• Time & Venue: 7.30pm to 9.30pm – Miles Room, St Peter’s College
• Event description: Volunteering abroad can be one of the most enriching ways to spend a couple of months. Not only is it an opportunity to share your life and skills with people in another country but it can bring long term benefits to them and to your own career.
