Twice a year Cambridge students run a one day conference exploring pressing issues of Development. This May, join us for 'Media Matters' a look at the role the media plays in influencing global opinion.
Are we aware of how it shapes our understanding of global issues through the selective use of images, text and film? And to what extent can media be a tool for development, influencing positive behaviours to reduce poverty and inequality? Or starting revolutions?
