Adam Grodecki - Chair of the Board of Trustees
Adam was recently the Executive Director of Student Hubs, whilst taking a sabbatical year from his degree in Theology at St. Peter’s College, Oxford. Adam worked during his gap year at Man Group plc, and has also undertaken an internship with Roland Berger Strategy Consultants. He is former President of the Oxford Hub, former Assistant Director of the Oaktree Foundation UK, and former President of UNICEF Oxford.
Tris Lumley - Head of Strategy and Development, New Philanthropy Capital
Tris is Head of Strategy at NPC. He has led the development of NPC’s framework for charity analysis, published in the 2005 report Funding success, and the development of NPC’s framework for analysing campaigns, published in the report Critical masses. Tris has also co-authored a number of reports within the community sector, on child abuse, adult and child refugees, and older people. He is a member of the Charity Commission’s SORP Committee and the ImpACT Coalition. Before joining NPC, Tris worked in consulting and research, first at Deloitte Consulting and finally at FreshMinds. He gained MA and MPhil degrees at St John’s College, Cambridge, in Natural Sciences and the History and Philosophy of Science.
Max Wakefield-Co-Founder, Bristol Hub
Max was involved in setting up the Bristol Hub in 2008-9 while studying at Bristol University. He was also involved setting up FoodCycle Bristol before graduating in Politics and Philosophy in 2011. He was elected Vice-President: Community of the Bristol Students' Union, a post that lasted until June 2012. Since early 2012 Max has been involved with Bristol-based energy justice project, Demand Energy Equality (.org), of which he became a founder co-director when incorporated as a CIC in July 2012. He now lives and works in Bristol for DEE on a part-time basis.
