3 Saturday/ Sunday activity days per term
Various locations around Oxford
Branch Up Active, similar to our regular Branch Up however with the aim of getting inactive young people active! Branch Up Active gives young people the opportunity to access new opportunities with the support of university student or Oxford residents. We’re looking for a team of volunteers to help make this happen at our activity days!
Oxford Hub are working to ensure children and young people in Oxford enjoy the benefits of sport and physical activity.
We want them to feel more motivated, confident and able to get active – which will also increase the likelihood of being active later in life.
We are looking for volunteers to work 1:1 with young people on Branch Up Active, to inspire them to get excited about sports!
Branch Up Active
Working with young people aged 7-11
Engaging young people who would benefit from sports interventions
The Michaelmas Term - 3 Activity days; Saturday 20th October, Saturday 3rd November and Sunday 18th November
Paired 1:1 with a young person (Different pair each week)
The group will try a range of sports and fun games as well as a trip!
Compulsory training for this programme will held on Monday 15th October in the Oxford Hub Office, 16-17 Turl Street Kitchen from 5pm-6.30pm
