NEW: Early Years Music Opportunities
🎉 We are looking for volunteers to help run music sessions in a local nursery for children under five.
These sessions will take place on a weekday and include nursery rhymes, popular songs and classical music, as well as showing children different instruments and how they are played!
If you are interested in this opportunity then email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more! We expect this opportunity to start in January.
LinkAges Music Project
We play an informal hour set of music at Isis House care home and Dementia Daybreak centre. It will be a fun, befriending session where everyone will clap, sing and dance along. Make sessions interactive by having a sing-along! Play as little or as much as you like! Play classical tunes or sing jazzy numbers!
It's a great opportunity to provide musical entertainment and interact with the older community in Oxford.
Alternate Saturdays 10.30am at Isis House, Cornwallis Rd OX4 3NH. Alternate Tuesdays 10am at Dementia Daybreak, St Margaret’s Institute, Polstead Road, OX2 6TN.
Oxford's Churchill Hospital is looking for volunteers to practice and perform on their new baby grand piano as part of our Hospital Volunteering project.
Located at the entrance to the Cancer Centre, you will be able to play for patients, families and staff in an informal setting. Music makes such an important difference to the atmosphere of the hospital and bring great enjoyment to the patients.
Share your love of music with local primary school children who are keen to learn but don't have the opportunity! We are looking for volunteers to help support a lunch time Recorder Club OR an after school choir club, on Tuesdays at John Henry Newman Academy in East Oxford.
Applications for Schools Plus will reopen in January! Email email@example.com if you have any questions in the meantime.
