Project SOUP

How it works

Project SOUP (Support Oxford's Upcoming Projects) host regular community dinners, serving delicious hot soup made from surplus food. Local charitable initiatives are invited to pitch their projects at the dinner, the audience take a vote, and the winning initiative receives the funds raised on the night.

Volunteers help run the events - you might be chopping vegetables, stirring soup, or serving guests. We usually host three dinners per year, so commitment is relatively relaxed. Sign up at the bottom of the page! We’re also looking for musicians to perform at our events, so if you’re a musical type get in touch with

Check out the Project SOUP website to find out more.
