Do I need to know how to code?
There's no doubt a knowledge of coding could be useful - but if you've never coded before then you just need an open mind at the training we provide, as your role will be facilitating the children’s learning rather than telling them the answers. Code Club currently works with Scratch, HTML and Python.
Oxford Hub's Code Clubs are for students at the University of Oxford, or Brookes Uni- if you are not a student, visit www.codeclub.org.uk. To find out about current opportunities email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Schools Plus is committed to being an inclusive programme, and encourages all students to get involved, and welcome BME, LGBT+ and Disabled applicants. We can make reasonable adjustments to application processes, selection workshops, training sessions, and other activities on a case-by-case basis. We also provide ongoing support for the students we work with, so if you have particular accessibility needs, including special educational needs, please do get in touch with email@example.com and let us know how we can make the activity more accessible
