Our Current Programmes

At Oxford Hub, our programmes provide opportunities for people to support each other to thrive, connect with their communities, and work together to make change.

 Volunteering opportunities with Oxford Hub

Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters creates long term mentoring and friendships that support children to thrive in life.

FELLOW

FELLOW provides free, friendly English language support for Oxford residents who'd like to improve their English skills as an additional language. Through group classes or one-to-one tuition, FELLOW supports participants to develop the language skills, confidence and connections to participate in their community and thrive in Oxford.

Schools Plus

Schools Plus tackles educational inequality in Oxford by providing free tutoring and academic support for local pupils aged 7-18.

We match local children with volunteer tutors. Through regular tutoring sessions, our pairs work together to help children reach their full academic potential!

Community support and opportunities for residents of Cowley, Rose Hill, Littlemore and the Leys

Blackbird Leys Community Fund

The Blackbird Leys Community Fund is a new fund for members of the community who have an idea to improve the lives of future Leys residents. Local people will receive the funding and local people will make the decisions about the fund.

Community Impact Zone

The Community Impact Zone (CIZ) aims to create more opportunities for children and families in the four key areas of Cowley Marsh, Cowley, Blackbird Leys and Northfield Brook.

Community-Rooted Health Support

Oxford Hub is working together with a local healthcare network and community groups in South East Oxford to support people to improve their health and wellbeing in a holistic way.

We support people to meet new people, connect with each other, and get active. We also support people to set up their own activities.

Parent Power

Bringing parents together to support each other, enabling families to lead their best lives and achieve their goals.
